Our EVO X-Tops are designed to be 3 sided, with one open end for ergonomic access to the keyboard on your top shelf. When you buy a Voyager EVO or an X-Top to add to your Voyager NXT, they ship with the X-Top Close Out installed, in case you want to completely enclose the top shelf of your workstation, or enclose all 4 sides of your workstation when it's packed down. If you need to replace your original, this is where you can do that.
